Heating Pump Stations

A complete, modular range of pump stations and manifolds for all low temperature hot water heating applications. Available in different sizes to suit the design heating load - DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40 and DN50, all cased with sectional EPP insulation to minimise heat loss. All pump stations are available with a choice of pumps from Wilo or Grundfos and include check valves, isolating valves and dial thermometers. Material is all brass. Mounting brackets are available to wall mount individual stations.

The manifolds are designed as a common header to feed multiple heating circuits and/or include multiple heat sources e.g. wood and gas backup, buffer store, sequenced boilers etc. Hydraulic separators and heat exchange stations can be used to isolate circuits if required. Sensor pockets, expansion vessel connections can all be accommodated.

Complete manifold kits upto 3 pump stations are available, or by you can build a custom manifold with upto 11 individual circuits by ordering individual components.

K31 Unmixed Pump station

Typically used for boiler loading of a manifold or loading a domestic hot water tank from a manifold. Available with 3 speed 4m, 6m or electronically controlled Grundfos or Wilo pump in sizes upto DN32. DN40 and DN50 also available with larger pumps upto 10m.

K32 with 3 way mixer valve

Typically used to provide a weather compensated flow temperature to radiator circuits by mixing a proportion of the circuit return water into the flow. Available with 3 speed 4m, 6m or electronically controlled Grundfos / Wilo pump in sizes upto DN32. The mixer valve is designed to be used with the SR5 actuator which has a patented brake mechanism to hold its position. The actuator is pulsed (230volt) on either the open or close wire to move the valve - full travel takes about 140 seconds. The Resol DeltaSol E and M provide suitable control action.

K34 with 3 way mixer valve and 0 to 50% bypass

Similar to K32, but with additional fixed bypass of up to 50% of the return water.

K36E with integral thermal control valve

Typically used to as a biomass boiler loading station to help reduce flue gas condensation by ensuring a minimum flow temperature. The integral thermostatic capsule recirculates flow water back to the boiler until the flow temperature reaches the preset level. Available with 3 speed 4m Grundfos or Wilo pump in DN25 or DN32 with preset temperatures of 50, 55 or 60°C.

K33 with constant value 3 way mixer valve and 0 to 50% bypass

Includes a capillary driven (self powered) actuator for the mixing valve to provide a constant flow temperature, e.g. for underfloor heating. The sensing element is strapped to the flow pipe along with an auxiliary electric thermostat with 20-60°C range.

Available in 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 section to supply upto 11 heating circuits.
